hah, the contrast on monitors are actually really annoying to calibrate. Everyone's monitors are different, so it'll appear different on other peoples. In my opinion, best way to color check is to print a draft out and see how it looks. if not, try bring it on to a cinqitue, they should be the closest one to true color along with mac monitors.
Sigh...PCS...always look so desaturated, but internet runs faster than a mac lol.
